Access Kommetjie Twitter (Original) Boulder from the parking lot on Rubbi road. Walk upon the sandy track into the mountains. At the top of the first section, turn left and then take your first right. This path bends right past the mushroom-looking boulder towards Kommetjie lighthouse. You will see the Trig Beacon as you near the edge of the cliff line. Stay on the path that heads towards Scarborough. When you are just past the Trig Beacon look left off the path and you will see an obvious small cave. This is the New Year's Day boulder. Walk past this boulder in the direction of Ocean View (northerly direction) for 100m or so until you reach a clump of boulders - these are the Twitter boulders and the original boulder is at the end.
